Delete your account

You delete your RELA account directly in the app:

1. Open RELA and go to Settings.
2. Select Security.
3. Select Delete account and confirm.

You are signed out as soon as the request has been registered.

The account enters pending deletion for a grace period of thirty (30) days. During that time you can change your mind by signing in again. Once the grace period has elapsed, the account is permanently deleted and cannot be restored.

Permanent deletion removes: your user account and sign-in credentials, your profile, your relationships and the content you created in them (posts, photos, notes, goals, and special dates), your chat messages, and uploaded files.

Some data may remain for a limited time after deletion: personal data may temporarily remain in technical backups, which are continuously deleted or overwritten (normally within thirty (30) days). Data we are required by law to retain, such as accounting records for purchases, is kept for as long as the law requires. Error reports held by our error-reporting service provider are deleted within ninety (90) days.

Subscriptions are purchased and managed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription — cancel it in the respective app store.

If you have uninstalled RELA and cannot sign in, you can request deletion by emailing us from the address your account is registered with:

support@rela-app.se

State that you want your account deleted. We may need to confirm that the request comes from the account holder before carrying it out.
